We don't have expensive membership or booking fees at Equilibrium; all we ask is that you book in advance for a term or block of classes.
Can I just come along to a Pilates class?
No, we need you to have a 121 with one of our teachers or attend a Pilates Workshop before joining a class. This enables us to give you a physical assessment and ensures you understand the basics so you can safely join a group class.
I have done Pilates before, do I still need to have a 121?
If you have attended Pilates classes at your local health club or gym, it may be very different to the Pilates we teach at Equilibrium, therefore we ask all new clients to have a 121 or attend a Workshop. Look at our Workshops page to find out when our next beginners Workshop is.
If you have attended Pilates classes with a Body Control Pilates qualified teacher somewhere else, you may be able to join a class without a 121 or even join an intermediate class.
How much do classes cost?
Pilates classes lasting one hour are £10 per class. Classes are paid for in advance in a block or term. A term of 7 classes will therefore be £70.
Yoga classes lasting 1.5 hours are £8.50 per class, again paid for in advance in a block.
What if I miss a class?
We have a very generous make-up system, whereby if you happen to miss your usual class we are happy for you to make it up at another class, within the term and providing there is space available. Always speak with Equilibrium reception to check there is space for you to make up, before turning up.
Do you do Reformer classes?
Yes we run a timetable of nine Group Reformer Classes a week for up to six clients per class. Reformer Classes are £17 per class and are paid for in advance for a term.
We also offer 121 Reformer classes, which are £38 for 1 hour. If you are interested in booking a 121 Reformer session, please call Equilibrium on 0121 323 4663.
