Welcome to my website! My name is Edward Quarton, I am a sound engineer from Lincoln, UK. In July 2024 I successfully completed a college RSL Level 3 Extended Diploma in the Creative Music Industry (Production) I also an electrical engineering background.

During my time at college I mixed and mastered a variety of solo and collaborative projects, in various music styles including, a heavy metal EP for a friend’s band, country, EDM, ambient, grunge and both classical and electronic music soundtracks. Working collaboratively didn’t always go the way I expected, sometimes there were differences of opinions and equipment limitations. I believe in the importance of listening to what other people have to say, offering advice when necessary and working together to let the music speak for itself.

During my career I have followed other artists such as, Alan Parsons, Steven Wilson and Devin Townsend, and studied their recording and mixing techniques and tried to adapt them to my own. Striving to balance the use of plug-ins and other digital techniques with traditional studio recording.

At the weekends I volunteer at my local church on the sound desk and in my spare time I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and collecting vinyl records.
